Made for the everyday

A page today. Yours tomorrow.

01

Save a page, not a bookmark

Keep an HTML copy of the content already loaded, with images and styling where the website allows access. Open it without a connection.

02

Build a small library

Search page titles, URLs and captured text. Give pages a collection name, then download the collection as one ZIP.

03

Keep up with changes

Save several chosen tabs, repeat captures while the tool stays open, and compare the text of two saved versions of the same URL.

A few useful details.

Some images, fonts or styles cannot be embedded because of website restrictions. Scripts, embedded frames, media players and editable form controls are excluded. The archive holds up to 50 captures or 100 MB.

Your privacy & permissions

Single-page captures use temporary website access from the toolbar action. Batch saving asks for tab information and access to the chosen sites.

Before you install

Good questions.

Can I open a saved page without internet?

Yes. Captured text and embedded assets are in the HTML file. Assets that the original site prevented from being embedded will be missing.

Can I schedule a capture?

You can repeat a capture every 1, 5 or 15 minutes while the WebVault tool tab stays open. Closing that tab stops the repeat.

Where is my archive stored?

In your local browser profile. Export copies before uninstalling the extension or clearing its data.

A page worth keeping

Some things are worth coming back to. A short walk, a good story, a useful reference. This is a sample saved page from the Margin Works playground.

A real WebVault capture keeps the loaded content of a website, where its resources are accessible.
