Made for the everyday

Text you can finally copy.

01

Choose the part you need

Upload an image, right-click a visible image, or drag around a region of the current webpage. You can recognize up to 20 images in a batch.

02

Read it on your device

English, French and Arabic recognition data are bundled with the extension. Your image does not need to be uploaded to a server.

03

Keep the words handy

Edit and copy results, preserve approximate spacing, search local text history and export text or JSON. Source images are not kept in history.

A few useful details.

Recognition can misread small, blurred or stylized text. Check the result before using it. Each image is limited to 15 MB and 16 million pixels; history keeps up to 200 text results.

Your privacy & permissions

Screen capture uses the current website permission granted by the toolbar or image context-menu action. Recognition and history stay on the device.

Good questions.

Which languages are included?

English, French and Arabic, with English + French and English + Arabic combinations. The data is bundled for offline use.

Can TextLens read a PDF?

Upload an image of the page or capture a visible region. Direct PDF document processing is not included in this build.

Are my screenshots uploaded?

No. The bundled recognition worker reads them locally. History stores text, not the original image.
